Test Match Ball – England Test Team’s Official Cricket Ball

This is the official ball used by both teams in T20 matches and domestic games. This ball is known as Kookaburra which has a very smooth surface that makes it easy even for the batsmen to hit. This ball is used in all forms of cricket except Twenty20 leagues.

The main advantage of this ball is that it does not deform easily when hit on the bounce, but the disadvantage is that they are quite expensive and difficult to come by. This can therefore, be considered as a good option for bowlers but not for batsmen.
